had a great time at the victoria hotel, check-in was super easy and the staff were really friendly. my single room was tidy and comfy, and the location was perfect for exploring york, easy walk to city center and all the sights. loved that i could park my car and leave it there after checkout to wander around. also, the flowers in the window made it feel extra nice!
only downside was it got a lil noisy at night, being above a pub u know? also, would have liked a small bin in the room not just the bathroom.

Would recommend for a city break
Comfortable room, exceptional location, with a friendly staff who provided great sightseeing tips over coffee and offered convenient free parking just a short distance from the main attractions.
Cannot find any fault.

The location is a key advantage, just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore. The cooked breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced, providing a great start to the day. the bathroom felt dated and the water pressure in the shower was extremely poor, making it frustrating to use. The temperature in the room was uncomfortable, and the noise from the street was an issue, detracting from a restful experience.

The location was ideal for our family visit to York, just a short walk from major attractions. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of our twin room and the welcoming atmosphere of the pub downstairs. Although we faced some noise from the street and the room was rather warm, the overall experience was enjoyable. The staff, while minimal in interaction, were courteous during check-in.

will be returning here soon
The deluxe double room was cozy with a flat-screen TV and electric kettle. The bathroom had essentials like shampoo and body soap, but the shower could use better water pressure. Breakfast had tasty options, and I loved that parking was available. Staff was welcoming and helped with local tips.

The reactions from the staff were cute and they even offered to help with parking when it filled up.
Not exactly a bargain, but you could do much worse.

Chill vibes and comfy beds
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was super comfy! The staff were really nice and helped us find a local Indian place. We ended up chilling in the bar listening to live music—so good! Only bummer was the street noise at night. it was kinda loud. But overall, it was a nice experience!
