had a great time at the victoria hotel, check-in was super easy and the staff were really friendly. my single room was tidy and comfy, and the location was perfect for exploring york, easy walk to city center and all the sights. loved that i could park my car and leave it there after checkout to wander around. also, the flowers in the window made it feel extra nice!

only downside was it got a lil noisy at night, being above a pub u know? also, would have liked a small bin in the room not just the bathroom.

The cooked breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced, providing a great start to the day. the bathroom felt dated and the water pressure in the shower was extremely poor, making it frustrating to use. The temperature in the room was uncomfortable, and the noise from the street was an issue, detracting from a restful experience.

This place suits me perfectly, with free wi-fi, a cozy bar lounge, and a delicious restaurant. The staff helped with early check-in during my first stay. I highly recommend enjoying the homemade food here. I’m coming back for a holiday!

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was super comfy! The staff were really nice and helped us find a local Indian place. We ended up chilling in the bar listening to live music—so good! Only bummer was the street noise at night. it was kinda loud. But overall, it was a nice experience!
